2025 Elected Officials and Committee Leaders


 Michelle Fletcher, President

Michelle Fletcher is an evaluator at the CDC*. Prior to CDC, Michelle worked at Emory University where she led projects focused on re-engaging patients into HIV care and PrEP implementation strategies for women in the Southeast US. Michelle received her MPH in Global Health with a concentration in Community Health Development from Emory University in 2020, and a BS in Community Health Sciences from California State University, East Bay in 2017. In her free time, Michelle serves as a mentor to college students interested in public health; and enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking, and spending time with friends. [*Michelle is serving in a personal capacity]


Ajay Reddy, Secretary

Ajay Reddy is the Founder, former owner, and Advisor of Spryng.io. He is a software engineer, data/AI architect, and process improvement coach whose expertise lies in designing services that equip organizations with sensemaking data—quantitatively rich story data that provides a foundation for wise decisions and effective actions through Active Sensemaking.

Ajay enjoys helping teams discover shared purposes, foster continuous learning, and create conditions for successful outcomes. He specializes in facilitating Active Sensemaking research.

He co-teaches a one-year apprenticeship in Active Sensemaking, guiding participants in designing, deploying, and analyzing narrative-based evaluations for real-world applications across community development, healthcare, finance, insurance, technology, sports, and education sectors. Ajay holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, is the author of Scrumban [R]Evolution, and the co-author of the upcoming Designing Sensemaking Studies: Research Methods for Understanding Communities.


Scot Selz, President Elect

Scot Seitz, PhD is the co-owner of Lumen Guidance & Consultation, an Atlanta-based company that provides program development and evaluation services. He completed a joint doctoral program in Community and Clinical Psychology at Georgia State University, and a postdoctoral residency program in health service psychology at Emory University School of Medicine. Scot specializes in comprehensive and culturally-informed program evaluations using qualitative and quantitative methods. Many of his clients are health-related organizations, positive youth development and mentoring programs, and community-based nonprofits. As a licensed psychologist with a background in Community Psychology, he considers the range of factors, from micro to macro levels, that impact communities, organizations, programs, and individuals.

Alice Chen, Treasurer

Alice Chen is an evaluator and health scientist. Currently, she works as a Health Scientist in the Division of Violence Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.* Her evaluation experience includes working with projects in intimate partner violence and technical assistance, as well as post-project sustainability. Alice is passionate about health equity and sustainability in public health projects. She has her MPH from Emory University and her BS in Public Health and Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. Alice also enjoys travel, taking walks, and video games in her free time. Hannah McMillan, Past President

Hannah McMillan, MPH currently works as an evaluator at the Centers for Disease Control*.  Hannah strives to use evaluation to ask and explore complex questions that can improve our health systems. She lives in metro Atlanta with her husband and two dogs and loves to go on outdoor adventures with them every chance she gets.[*Hannah is serving in a personal capacity]

Emma Waugh, Programs Co-Chair 

Emma Waugh is the founder and president of Hoehn Public Health Consulting,LLC whose mission is to help community partners understand,measure, and amplify their impact in the ways that are most meaningful tothem. She is a non-Native ally and has experience in Tribal publichealth focusing on mental health, youth substance abuse prevention, nutrition,and public health infrastructure. Emma has a Master of Public Health fromEmory University and previously served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer inCamden, NJ. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Atlanta, spending time inthe mountains, and participating in triathlons with her husband.

Cheralynn Corsack, Co-Chair of the Pro Bono Committee 

Cheralynn Corsack is the founder and principal of Cheralynn Corsack Consulting with over eight years of experience as an evaluator. She specializes in quantitative (numbers) and qualitative (interviews and focus groups) data collection and analysis that centers peoples’ experiences. She is passionate about giving data back to those who provided it and facilitating conversations to empower people to contextualize, understand, and use their data to take action. Cheralynn earned her Master of Public Health in Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health at University of California, Berkeley where she was trained in program planning and evaluation and quantitative and qualitative methods. She served as an AmeriCorps Service Member outside Atlanta, GA working with youth with behavioral and intellectual disabilities. Cheralynn was born and raised in rural New Hampshire and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia. In her free time, she casually bikes around Atlanta and plays grass-court volleyball.

Ana Paula Duarte, Co-Chair of Pro Bono Committee

Ana Paula is the Co-Chair for the Pro Bono Committee. She works as an Evaluation Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention*. Ana has been volunteering as a project lead in the Pro Bono program for the past two years, and is now excited to  transition to working in the AaEA committee. Ana is very passionate about evaluation, and more specifically the importance of evaluation in the climate change and adaptation field. [*Ana Paula is serving in a personal capacity] 

Kjersti Kleine, Communications Chair

Kjersti Kleine is an evaluator and public health scientist. Currently, she works as a Health Scientist in the Division of HIV Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.* Her evaluation experience includes working with the Division of STD Prevention through the CDC Evaluation Fellowship, serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho with the National AIDS Commission, and collaborating with the Hope Clinic of the Emory Vaccine center on HIV and COVID-19 prevention projects. She has her MPH from Emory University and her BS in Health Sciences from Furman University. Kjersti is looking forward to expanding her communications skills as the Communications Chair of AaEA.
