An Evening with AEA President, Leslie Goodyear

During the AEA Summer Institute, AaEA had the pleasure of hosting an Evening with AEA President Leslie Goodyear on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Hudson Grille. Leslie shared with over 60 local affiliate members and Summer Institute attendees from near and far about some new and exciting things going on in AEA Here are some of the night’s highlights.

1. Membership in AEA is full of opportunities to connect with other evaluators, evaluation resources, and working groups. Check out the many Topical Interest Groups (TIGs) if you are interested in joining. 

2. AEA has a number of initiatives that members have the opportunity to weigh in on.

- Make sure to vote yay or nay on adopting the Guiding Principles on the AEA 2018 Ballot by midnight August 6th ! 
- Interact with the AEA board during one of the Virtual Town Halls.     
- Learn how to get involved in AEA’s Evaluation Policy Initiative     
- Provide feedback on the AEA Draft Competencies
