Collaborative approaches to evaluation (CAE) are evaluations where evaluators engage with program community members to coproduce evaluation knowledge. There has been much written about collaborative approaches to evaluation theory and a plethora of empirical studies have been published on the topic. Yet little is known about the extent to which collaborative practice corresponds with theory.
Join us on Tuesday February 24th from 12-1PM for a virtual journal club with J. Bradley Cousins and Yasmine Alborhamy to discuss their recent article, Theory-Practice Connections in Collaborative Approaches to Evaluation: A Systematic Review of Practice, published in the American Journal of Evaluation.
Our discussion will begin with an overview of the article by the authors, so feel free to participate even if you aren’t able to read the article beforehand.
Join us to connect with the authors and fellow Atlanta evaluators for a robust discussion on collaborative approaches to evaluation and how you might introduce them in your practice!
